David was first admitted to practice law in England in 1979. He immigrated to Western Australia in 1988 and was admitted to practice in Western Australia in 1989. David spent his first three years in Western Australia practicing at Ilbery Barblett & O’Dea (now Ilberys Lawyers) and was a founding member of Halperin Fleming Meertens when it came into existence in 1992.

David spends a significant amount of time working in the Kimberley Region of Western Australia assisting Aboriginal communities and corporations as well as individuals.

Josie graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2001 and was admitted to practice law in the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2003. Josie became a director of HFM Legal in 2007.

Edward has been employed by HFM Legal since 2001. He completed a Bachelor of Science (Marine and Biological Science) at Murdoch University in 2005 and a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Notre Dame (Fremantle) in 2008. He was admitted to practice law in the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2009.

Edward moved to Broome in 2009 and presently manages our Broome Office.
